Vellus Hair Removal is sometimes reduced by several IPL ( intense pulsed light) , but still not permanent. The best treatment for Vellus hair is electrolysis. Electrolysis is permanent hair removal.. I hope this helps
You should check with your provider, however it should be fine to continue your topical retinoid between treatments. At my practice we advise our patients to avoid active products over the treated area 1 week pre- and post-procedurally.
