Had a Vi Peel today and the practitioner only did two passes. Looking around online, everyone else seemed to get 3-4. Thoughts?

I also felt a strong burning sensation after the first pass. I was fanning my face to deal with the heat of the second. Could she have given me less because she thought I had sensitive skin? I’m afraid I spent all that money and may not get the fullest results with less

Hi, thank you for your question! I would recommend keeping the irritated skin moist with aquaphor. You are going to want to keep the skin moist as it heals to prevent additional damage.

Some people don't peel in sheets of skin.  That dryness and flakiness you are experiencing is a form of peeling.  The skin cells are coming off, just in smaller chunks and not one sheet.  Think of a  brick wall--you can bulldoze it and it may stay in wall form...
