Had a Vi Peel today and the practitioner only did two passes. Looking around online, everyone else seemed to get 3-4. Thoughts?

I also felt a strong burning sensation after the first pass. I was fanning my face to deal with the heat of the second. Could she have given me less because she thought I had sensitive skin? I’m afraid I spent all that money and may not get the fullest results with less

thank you for your question. yes 3 to 4 passes is ideal but depending on how your skin reacted to the application, the provider may have felt that 2 passes was enough. a stinging sensation is normal but if the skin was frosting (looks like a white substance on the outer layer of skin) or was VERY red, that would be reason to stop at 2 passes. you most likely will still peel from this as long as you left it on for 4 hours and followed the home care instructions.
