What happens after accutane?

I started at 20 mg for five months and now I'm down to 10mg on my last month. My dermatologist doesn't explain much but I haven't had any signs of new acne since the middle of the 4th month which is why I'm guessing she lowered the dose.

I prefer to prescribe low doses of Accutane so that my patients stick with the regimen. I'd rather have people on the meds longer with lower doses than have to deal with side effects. If you are uncomfortable, talk to your prescribing derm about lowering your dosage. Ultimately it will mean...
