Will 5-10 seconds of hot air affect my Invisalign trays?

I was blow drying my hair, realized about 5-10 seconds in that it could be a potential problem. I have yet to take the Invisalign out, but I can't tell if it is currently warped. What should I do?

The short amount of time and more importantly, the fact that when blow drying your hair you are not directing the heat source directly into your mouth and, therefore, not directly onto your aligners means that your aligners are not warped from the heat and you should be fine.More importantly is not introducing hot water into the mouth when wearing the aligners and not leaving your aligners out in the sun or in a hot car in the summer months.  Additionally, aligners should never be cleaned with anything caustic or with water that is too hot as this warps the plastic.  When wearing the aligners the mouth is protecting the aligners from heat sources like blow dryers and the like.

if you have any doubts try it on .If there is a space between your aligner and your teeth, then the aligner is unwearable.You can then contact your orthodontist for a replacement. In the meantime, you can wear your previous aligner till you receive your replacement.
