I had Botox for the "11s". I vomited twice, and fell asleep (elevated) afterward. Can this negatively affect the Botox?

After any filler or nuerotoxin injections it is important to not lay down for at least 4 hours after treatment. This is because you do not want the product to migrate. Knowing you were elevated may have avoid any shift/movement of product but see your physician with any questions/concerns. Migraines/headache is more common with Botox so maybe try Dysport for your next treatment.

Really sorry to hear about the migraine.  Migraines are terrible things and I hope you are feeling better now.  Please see your doctor who performed the injections to let them know about your migraines.  I would not expect the migraine itself to effect the efficacy of the botox.

The effort of vomiting immediately after Botox injections can potentially direct the injected Botox in unwanted areas. 
Although I encountered this reaction in patients none of them had any complications. The area of concern would be the upper eyelid area.

Assuming the Botox was injected properly, vomiting twice and sleeping with your head elevated should not cause the Botox to migrate.  However, if you continue to have concerns about your treatment, there is no substitute for an in-person consultation to go over your results.

I would not be overly concerned about the impact of the headache on the botox. Wait 5-7 days to see how the botox "kicks in." I'm sorry you felt sick.

Please do not be concerned .Although we advise not lying down for 4 hours , reality is that lid droop which may occur is uncommon even if you do lie down and even if it does occur , it is usually so mild as to be barely noticeable except to the trained eye and can be treated with drops until it resolves on its own in usually 2 weeks .Vomiting should have no extra effect except for the fleeting bending forward which potentially( as we have no hard evidence ) may only slightly increase lid droop risk.

I suspect there will be no untoward side effects from what you described. Laying on your face is more likely to displace the Botox than on your back. I don’t think that throwing up will do anything either. Unfortunately, nothing can be done to mitigate any small movements of the injections. I wouldn’t worry about it. 

Would further discuss with whomever you are comfortable pros and cons of neurotoxins as well as all your options. It is important to remain upright to help minimize the migration of the injected medication which you were wise to do.

Hello, there is no evidence that the position will alter the effect of Botox. As for your headache, it is not uncommon that patients have a headache after Botox injection or even a few days later, as the muscles start to relax and you keep trying to contract them, voluntarily or involuntarily. It is self-limited, but you can just take regular over the counter analgesics for that.
