Hi, please could you advise me about MIS dental implants..would you know how long they have been in the industry and if they have a good success rate or any problems? Regards Jillian

There are well over 200 different brands of dental implants in North America.  Many more worldwide.The decision which implant to use lies in the doctor you choose.  There are different implants for different clinical situations and needs.  Your doctor makes a decision about which implant to use based on training, popularity of some brands, cost and most importantly desired characteristics.  We have been using MIS implants with great success as well as other brands.  The implant is well suited for a variety of clinical applications and has great support in North America.  It is also a popular implant around the world which means parts are readily available.  Hope this helps.

At this present day, almost all implants are of the same titanium grade, etched and sandblasted yielding 95+% success rates.  The difference is now differentiated by design. MIS has several designs, but I enjoy using their "Seven" design as it is self tapping and has aggressive threads for primary stability. Other brands I use work just as well.

I have been using them for years for my Snap On Dentures. I have placed literally thousands and I have just reported 2 dental implants that broke, which is a very low rate. yes, highly recommended.
