I had a BA last year and current wear the shirts with the bra built in. I know you can't wear a bra during surgery, so what is being used after surgery. Are strapless bras with front closures used? If we are all bandaged up, are the care givers the ones that put the bras on once home?

Answer: Breast Support During Tummy Tuck
After your tummy tuck, your surgeon will probably have you wearing a dressing that gives compression to the abdomen. These usually reach up to the rib cage, and should not interfere with wearing a bra. If you are concerned about not being able to reach around to your back to fasten your bra, you can purchase a few bras that open in the front. Your surgeon can probably provide you with the bra used after breast enlargement surgery, but chances are it won't fit as well as something you can buy from the lingerie shop.
Best wishes.

Answer: Breast support during tummy tuck
Thank you for the question. In general, you do not need breast support during tummy tuck and you can wear regular bra after surgery. Your plastic surgeon may have different instructions. I advise you to address that question with him/her before surgery.
