Should I be worried about my breast augmentation incision? It hurts 12 days post-op. (photos)

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  At 12 days PO it would be natural to have some pain along your incision site and I would advise not stressing the tissues by trying to remove the tape.  Maintain your follow up appointments with your surgeon so as to ensure an uncomplicated recovery.  Hope this helps.

These questions are best handled by your surgeon who is responsible to see you through your recovery. Let him address your concerns right away.

thank you for your question. Pain that you are describing is most likely within normal limits a couple of weeks after breast augmentation. However, you must be examined by your plastic surgeon to see if everything is normal. It is not possible to evaluate the status of the wound as the photographs still show the steri strips in place. 

Please follow up with the plastic surgeon who performed your procedure for an examination.
