It is true that the Emsculpt NEO paddle does not move around during the procedure, and sits directly on the skin of the treatment area. However, the area adjacent to treatment will also yield results as well because the RF from the paddle with radiate out about 1-2 cm. The NEO is safe to use every 5-7 days as the RF treatment is monitored to not burn the area being treated while you are simultaneously getting muscle contraction and stimulation. For the Emsculpt NEO it is recommended to get 4 treatments, once weekly to see best results.

The RF treatment does expand farther than the actual paddle size. The company has modified the RF treatment to avoid needing to move the paddle and avoid burns. The skin is not burned during the treatment, but will be warm, often wet from sweating, and a little red from heat for a short time after treatment.

It’s simply is not the correct way if someone wants to actually get fat reduction with good aesthetic outcomes.
