In the last year, I have noticed that my hair has rapidly begun to recede, however before looking at the pictures some background might help I have always had naturally thinner and finer hair, as long as my memory holds, when having wet hair I could usually see my scalp I have only 1 uncle who is bald everyone else has great hair I took testosterone supplements as I had low testosterone and that's when it truly seems to have taken off I use an array of supplements and tools to try to prevent

Thank you for your question.  You are experiencing early hair loss which may have worsened with testosterone.  Make. consult with a hair specialist in your area.  there are many treatment options including PRP, amino acid pills, propecia, shampoos, laser therapy, micropigmentwation and even hair graft transplant.  Best wishes!

You are young, and at this stage your objective should be hair loss prevention.  The only solutions at this point in time are Rogaine, Propecia, platelet rich plasma, and low level laser.

hair loss is progressive  What are you using for a preventative regimen? An organic shampoo as well as medications like Finasteride and Minoxidil can be very helpful in maintaining and keeping your existing hair. 
  
Keep in mind that hair loss is progressive. It is important to get on a preventative regimen. You should switch to an organic shampoo. You can also consider a natural DHT blocker like Saw Palmetto. There are also medications like Finasteride (a DHT Blocker) and Minoxidil (Rogaine) that can be very helpful in maintaining you existing hair, helping to prevent future loss and even regrow some hair. Before taking any medications you should discuss this with your general physician.

I would suggest you sit down with a physician specializing in hair loss medicine to reciew carefully the diagnosis and discussion of a treatment plan. It does appear there is frontal hair thinning and possibly other areas too. What is the most common cause of these changes in a 21 year old male? Well that answer is male pattern balding (MPB). Male balding can be worsened by use of testosterone supplements in some men. Please see a physician to determine exactly what is going on.

Your biggest enemy is the progressive thinning leading to a balding pattern that is not evident at this point in time. The degree of thinning that you are experiencing would suggest that you should see a doctor who most likely will get Bulk Measurements of your hair to determine the degree of the thinning that you are presently having. If the diagnosis is early genetic hair loss (the most common cause of hair loss in young men), then the best treatment would be the drug finasteride which is highly effective in men of your age and may not only stop the hair loss but possibly reverse it. If you are developing a more advanced balding pattern the best test to get will determine the Bulk Measurements of your hair and this will show, over a one-year time frame, how effective the treatment will be. Once you know this information, then you and your doctor need to develop a MASTER PLAN which will define what you need to do over the years to come.
