Can Morpheus 8 help with melasma?
Answer: Doing Morpheus8 can help with Melasma. Recommend also doing Cosmelan peel and melarase creams to further enhance results Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Morpheus and melasma Hello, my name is Ranen and I am an aesthetic nurse and skin care specialist at Aesthetic Skin. Morpheus wouldn't be my treatment option for you. Morpheus helps with building collagen and reducing fine lines and wrinkles, helps with texture issues, acne scars. I would recommend other options to treat melasma. With it being triggered by heat I would avoid lasers and try chemical peels specifically designed for patients with melasma.

Answer: Can Morpheus8 help minimize the appearance of melasma? Morpheus8 is a fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device that is primarily used for skin rejuvenation and tightening. It works by delivering RF energy into the deeper layers of the skin through micro-needles, stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture. While Morpheus8 may provide some benefits for overall skin appearance, it is not specifically designed to target or treat melasma. Melasma is a common skin condition characterized by dark patches on the face, often triggered by factors like sun exposure, hormonal changes, or genetics. Treatment for melasma typically involves a combination of approaches, such as laser therapy, sunscreen use, and topical depigmentation agents in some cases. If you are dealing with melasma, it's essential to consult with a skincare professional to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for your specific condition. They can provide guidance on the use of topical treatments, recommend specific lasers or light-based therapies suitable for melasma, and advise on lifestyle changes to help manage the condition effectively.
