When the procedure is done on the face and neck, am I able to shave after the procedure?

Make sure to discuss with your provider their post treatment protocol. And most cases shaving after the procedure may be irritating and should be delayed for a few days at a minimum.

I usually inform patients to try not to further irritate their skin with any waxing or shaving for at least two weeks to be on the safe side.  Your current practitioner should provide you with those instructions.

Once your treatment is concluded your skin is going to be very sensitive, during this period we recommend taking certain precautions such as; restorative cream, SPF, thermal water and also avoiding sun exposure, exercise and shaving. These precautions could last 5 to 10 days depending on each patients case.
