3 weeks post op, am I doomed to have one flat areola and one pointy one? Is there any fixing this?

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry that your current results have not been what you anticipated.  Often as a result of the areolar incision of a breast lift the tissues will appear flat until any residual swelling resolves and the tissues stretch.  This also allows any nerve endings to start working to have an effect on shape based on temperature and emotional state.  I know you are struggling now but I do think you will improve the symmetry as your outcome matures further.  Hope this helps.

You are still in a very early stage of you recovery. The shape and size of areola can still change significantly.
Sorry to hear you are not happy with size but is important to understand that is not always possible/safe use very large implants.

You are still early in the healing process, and tenderness, swelling and bruising are not uncommon at this point in time. It takes about 6 months for your body to fully heal and by then you will see your final results. Always follow your surgeon's instructions as each has his/her own post-op protocols they follow.

Swelling can cause the nipple to appear flat with the swelling of the areola. You have  to give it 4-6 months to settle.
