My teeth are different shades. Is that normal? (Photo)

I just got my teeth whitened less than twelve hours ago with Zoom. My teeth are much whiter near the top of my teeth, as you can see in my front two especially. My teeth are different colors instead of one solid color. Should I be upset? Does that happen often? I'm more self conscious about my smile now than before.. This is awful. The top half of my top teeth are much whiter than the bottom half of them. It's like a gradient in an upside down U shape. What do I do?

In nature teeth are not the same color from top to bottom.  They are usaully slightly more color saturated at the area near the gums and slightly lighter in the area away from the gums.

The color will stabilize in a few days--part of this noticeable difference is the dehydration that occurs with the thinner edges drying out more than the thicker part closer to your gumline.There is nearly always a change in color from the edges to the gumline--Give it a few days and then see what you think.JMDDS
