I'm wearing the last aligner and want to have the Vivera Retainer after finishing the program. Can I apply for it without dental impression? I will move back to my country next month. Can I transfer my case to another dentist?

No impressions are needed to have the Vivera retainers fabricated, however you will need to either return to your current orthodontist or transfer your case to a new one.  This is necessary in order for the attachments to be removed and for the retainer order to be placed.  Patients can not obtain retainers directly from Invisalign.

The answer is yes to both questions. You can get vivera retainers without any impression if the last tray fits good and you are happy with the results. You may transfer to another dentist but it may cost you more. I suggest order the vivera from your original dentist and invisalign can ship them directly to your home address.
