I’ve been successful in he past in treating my rosacea with IPL. I am searching for a new practice now, and they are trying to sell me OPL or SHR, saying they are superior machines for the problem. The lady with SHR only advertises hair removal on her web site, so I am a little apprehensive. Which machine is the best for treating rosacea? Thanks!

Answer: Rosacea Treatment Finding the right rosacea treatments and medical therapy can help control and manage this condition. Without treatment, rosacea can often worsen. Since the signs and symptoms of rosacea can vary from one patient to another, we customize treatments based on each individual patient. These rosacea treatments can include a mix of topical treatments including antibiotics and anti-inflammatory gels, oral medications, and in-office procedures including chemical peels, LED therapy & laser treatment for rosacea. We use the VBeam laser treatment to reduce overall redness and rejuvenate the skin. Because rosacea is different for everyone, we develop tailored treatment plans to help you see the best results. Acne rosacea treatment is different than ocular rosacea treatment, for example. For some patients, rosacea natural treatment options may work best. Our patients have achieved remarkable results, often by combining multiple different therapies in order to resolve their individual condition. Our team of experts can prescribe your best course of action to not only heal any current rosacea you may be suffering from, but to also prevent any flare-ups in the future.
