I myself have had late-onset inflammatory response from the Moderna bivariant. The swelling occurs every couple of weeks, and this has happened for the past 4 months. I do not have breast implants, but am interested in them if I can figure out what's my personal risk for BII. I'm wondering if there is a correlation with breast implant illness? Is the swelling reaction related to an autoimmune response just like BII? Thank you.

The best way to determine the cause of your symptoms is to see a qualified plastic surgeon who has experience with breast augmentation and can examine you in person. They may also want to review the results of your mammogram to help diagnose the issue and determine the best course of action.
