Can Belotero and Juvederm be combined?

Question

RN injected 1 needle of Belatero last week in my lips & smokers line & there has been no difference other than bruising. Should I go back & request Juviderm just for my lip & marionette lines since those are the areas I requested. I don't think Belatero worked ?

Belotero and Juvederm can be combined. It will be more important to use the right type of Belotero or Juvederm to correct those smoker lines, marionette lines and to increase the lip volume. For more superficial lines Juvederm Volbella or Belotero Balance will work well, for the lip augmentation and marionette lines, Juvederm Vollure or Belotero Intense work better. Check your options with  your RN

Hi SS.  Absolutely these two types of dermal fillers can be combined.  Belotero and Juvederm are both Hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers and both work very well in the lips.  Layering and using them together is not a problem.  Best of luck.

Yes, you can have Juvederm after Belotero. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend fillers for the lines themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. belotero is not the best product for vertical lip lines. I would use juvederm volbella. You can layer them. tell your practitioner to stay superficial
