1 week post op, I have back pain after breast reduction surgery. Is this normal?

I had a breast reduction a week ago. I am having upper back pains. I have not had my follow up appointment yet. Could it be because I have to sleep on my back? I'm not a back sleeper at all. I sleep on my stomach and side.
