I have been done a lot of research and cannot seem to get a definitive answer. Many advise to apply this serum right after cleansing and before other serums, while others advise other lighter serums to go on before the TNS. I typically alternate glycolic acid and retinol at night, for reference.

Hello and thank you for your question about retinol. Retinol can be applied around the mouth for lip lines, just stay clear of the body of the lip. It is also important to not go too close to your eye with these products as they do travel a bit once it is put on the skin. I hope this answered...
The rule of thumb when applying skin care products is THINNEST to THICKEST. Depending on your glycolic acid (is it serum based, pad, etc?) If it is a pad- I would do glycolic pad, vitamin c, TNS, and then HA5 (then sunscreen of course). But again- thinnest to thickest is the best way to go...
