Will 0.55 or 1ml of Juvederm be best for a full lip? (photos)

Hello im wondering if 0.55 will make much difference on my lips or if i should just go for the 1ml treatment? My lips are quite full already i just want my bottom lip evening up and a much more defined cupids bow.

Thank you for your question. Both are HA fillers so there is no contraindication to use another type of HA. Be sure to let your injector know you previously had filler so they are aware.

I suggest contacting your injector. It could be swelling in the area or a pocket of filler or another filler another filler like Restylane Silk may be needed to smooth out the area. Please see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph.  Due to the thin tissues of the lips, they do tend to swell with injections, and your results will mature over 2 weeks.  After two weeks if you'd like a touch-up you can use your remaining filler.  Hope this helps.
