Laser for smoothing labia edges and removing scars? (Photo)

I did 2 labiaplasty surgery in 2018 using surgery instruments and I took almost 8 months to recover .. after the second surgery I had these lumps on the edge and I think it occurred from the stitches.. I consulted my surgeon and he advised to remove it by CO2 or erbium leaser. I have concerns if this is the best option comparing with the surgery instruments as I feel that I am exposing myself to high heat and I will take long time to be recover
