I can see that the right side of my face is flat compared to the left side. I prefer the left side. I cant seem to understand why the right side seems flat. I think it could be the cheeks or the jaw. Could you please analyse the photos and tell me what the cause may be and what the solution to this would be. Thanks in advance. I live in texas.
Answer: Facial asymmetry Considering that your photos do not show much in-person evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended.

Answer: Injectable Volumizing Fillers Work Well For Shaping & Contouring The Face The photos provided are not optimal, but do suggest flattening of the face in the cheek areas. If so, this should be rather easily remedied with the use of a volumzing filler, such as Voluma XC, which would be my choice in my Upper East Side Manhattan practice or Stylage XXL, which would be my choice for this in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved volumizing fillers are available. Inexperienced, novice injectors trained only to use plain Juvederm or Restylane for treating simple smile lines might suggest the use of these materials for the cheeks. However, the lift and shaping obtained from these and the duration of the effect are unlikely to be satisfactory. So, since nonsurgical facial shaping and contouring is an advanced injection technique, be sure that you seek consultation and treatment by a board certified aesthetic physician. And make sure to ask to see his/her before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Improving Asymmetrical and Flat Face with Fillers (voluma, radiesse), sculptra, implants, fat Facial sculpting, contour, volume and symmetry of the face can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat would be alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Facial Asymmetry Your pictures are not the best to make an assessment as they just show one side at a time. But it appears that it is combination of both cheek and jaw deficiency for which cheek and jaw implants would provide the best long-term solution.

Answer: Flat face from one side-solutions? The face is a three-dimensional structure, so a full set of facial photographs are required to make a determination about a surgical procedure such as cheek Implants. When patients have a flat maxilla/ cheek on either one or both sides, consider cheek implants for a permanent augmentation. Cheek implants are composed of silastic, and are manufactured in a large variety of sizes and shapes, and can be custom carved when necessary to match patient's unique anatomy. For more information, many examples including diagrams of the implants themselves, please see the link and the video below
