Skin got even darker and pigment got worse after 5 sittings. Any suggestions?

I am 25 and indian girl. I took glycholic peeling form a very renowned hospital's dermatologist.i had pegmentation problem and dull skin. So I took this to have a good skin tone and glow on the skin. She advised me 5 sitting every at a week. I started it but after 3/4 sittings I see no improvement. I had my last (5th) sitting today and now I have even darker skin and small pimples on my forehead. Still no improvement on pegmentation.My doctor told me it will be alright after a few days. Is it true !

The simple answer is no that is not a possibility. These areas may simply be pigment and not really the moles
