My 2 teeth are both RCT, half broken, and capping is removed. What treatment would you recommend? (photo)

What I see here are two very short teeth that need crowns.  Let's assume the root canals are fine & there's no decay present.putting conventional crowns on these teeth are sure to cause you gum problems because there's not enough tooth structure to work with. So what happens is that the gum tissue stays chronically inflamed around both of those teeth and it's very difficult to floss between them.I recommend that you see a gum specialist (periodontist) to have the gum lowered around both of those teeth so that the restorative dentist has more structure to work with. That ensures a situation that is easily flossable and the gum has a chance to stay healthy. I further recommend that you have an all-porcelain crown made for each tooth.  Crowns with metal beneath them usually cause chronic inflammation. The best way I know how to make an old porcelain crown is with a cad-cam system called Cerec.  You can look that up online and find a doctor near you who does that type of crown.

Without an X-ray it is difficult to determine the health of these teeth. It may be very appropriate to simply place crowns on them. If the root canal,has been exposed to bacteria for a prolonged period of time it may need to be redone. If there is a lot of recurrent decay one or more of these teeth may need to be removed and implants placed.
