Already I have some thin lines raising on the sides of my forehead. Now baldness is appearing on the back near the center area. I consulted a dermatologist 3years back.. he gave me ketoconazole shampoo and an oil for use.. I stopped it an year before as there was no result.. Now I'm extremely depressed and waiting for a solution.. please guide me..

Answer: As a medical student yourself, you should come to understand that there is no cure for male pattern balding.

You need to see a doctor for a diagnosis of hair loss on your neck. Some people have hair loss around the neck that can be genetic. Or patchy hair loss can be (among other things) alopecia areata.
In our practice we do a combination of treatments including PRP and progesterone which give amazing results in combination with rogaine/finesteride and oral nutrients. Best, Dr. Emer.
Burning and stinging sensation with hair loss is not normal. You need to see a doctor for a proper exam. If you have been to a doctor and they do not examine your hair or scalp, ask them to examine it since you are having issues on your scalp.
