How long after Sculptra & Voluma am I in the clear for vascular occlusion/complications?

I recently read an alarming article on fillers & vascular occlusion and was wondering how long after your last filler injection would put you in the clear? FYI My last Sculptra (temples) was 5 mos. ago & Voluma (temples, jawline, brow) 7+ mos. but was looking fwd to doing more soon. Also, would Voluma be considered safer than Sculptra in these areas? Thx!

From the moment you walk out of the door from your provider's office you are clear of any potential vascular occlusion. VO is a sudden, immediate event caused by either intraluminal cannulation of the vessel by the needle tip with deposition of product into the vessel, or from pressure of product placed near a vessel causing compression. Only hyaluronic acid gel fillers like Voluma (and the dozens of others) can be instantly removed by enzymatic degradation (hyaluronidase), making it the safest filler available.
