Concerns Regarding My Recent Brow and Cheek Lift - will I need a revision? (Photos)

Question

I underwent an endoscopic temporal brow and cheek lift, along with 20 cc of fat grafting, in January 2025. Unfortunately, I feel like my appearance has worsened since the surgery. My surgeon insists that I should wait six months for the final results and trust the process, but my recovery has been extremely challenging. I’m considering seeking in-person second opinions and would greatly appreciate any guidance or insights you may have. Thank you. Please note I’ve been extremely on top of my post care as well. 10 sessions of 100% oxygen HBOT starting 1 day post op, 20 sessions of post op Mld. SPM’s to help compact inflammation, sleeping upright w recommended compression for 10 weeks, daily walking, clean whole food in process diet. Etc

While endoscopic brow lifts are quite effective (I have done thousands since 1989), I believe that some of the fat injected under the brow that lifts the tail more and fills out the cheek will usually dissolve over time.  Fat dissolves over 2/3 of the time, according to recent studies.  Of course I can only say this tentatively as the photos are not conclusive and consultation is necessary.

This is a question that only time will answer. You can seek other opinions at this point, but you will likely be told the same thing.... you have to wait. An in person consultation or a virtual call with adequate lighting is essential to determine the state of healing, your concerns, and whether/if further surgery would be helpful.

Based on your series of postal photos, I see minimal of any changes in the results, therefore question whether you should’ve had a open type of surgery versus endoscopic? Best of virtual console with to fully understand. Revision fees would range from $15,000-$25,000.because of the higher risk and revision. Again, best of virtual consult with.
