Brow lift with bone tunnel - can I do this with twilight sedation?

Hello, i had a brow lift in 2021. I didn’t last very long, drooped after a couple of months. I have one side that is droopier than the other. I want to revisit this and saw a surgeon for a consult who performs endoscopic brow lift with bone tunnelling. I dont want to go under, id like to have twilight sedation. I’ll be doing this with ptosis repair and upper bleph. Will I be ok worh twilight sedation? Im Just concerned about the bone tunneling and pain. Thoughts??

Thank you for your question. Many patients can safely undergo an endoscopic brow lift along with ptosis repair and upper blepharoplasty using twilight sedation combined with local anesthetic. The primary concern is not pain, but whether you can remain still and comfortable long enough for the surgeon to perform the procedure safely. Some surgeons prefer general anesthesia for longer combined surgeries. If you are set on twilight sedation, ask about the total operative time, the specific fixation method they will use, and whether the procedures can be staged if necessary for your comfort and safety. Have an in-person evaluation with a board-certified surgeon and the anesthesia team to ensure you are a suitable candidate for twilight sedation and to plan the safest anesthesia approach for your combined procedures.
