Throwing up after chin and cheek implants? Can this shift/harm them?

I got a chin and cheek implants about 2 weeks ago. I’ve come down with a really bad virus and have been throwing up non-stop. When I throw up I feel so much pressure in my face and the implants feel sore. Can the pressure from throwing up displace the implants in anybway? They are not screwed in. Also can they become damaged by this?

Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, facial implants (cheek, chin), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years.  You may want to contact your surgeon for some medication for the nausea.  Increased blood pressure to the face can cause bleeding around the cheek and/or chin implant.Feel better and I hope this helps.
