I would wait a full year prior to attempting any type of revisionary surgery. I would immediately seek out a hyperbaric chamber to receive hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments. This will help with healing the skin necrosis. In addition, if there is a facial nerve injury (as evidenced by the lip asymmetry in your photo)....this is a potential emergency with respect to time. Facial nerve injuries need to be evaluated and treated by a board-certified plastic surgeon, ideally in a dedicated facial nerve center. I would find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I always tell prospective patients to look at the plastic surgeon's training (ideally a 6 year integrated plastic surgery residency and a 1 year aesthetic fellowship accredited by The Aesthetic Society). In addition, examine before/after photos on social media platforms. I would also look at Google or RealSelf reviews.
