The changes in the the nose architecture when yuou smile is less related to the nose and more related to how muscles attach onto the nose. Generally I recommend against messing around with that permanently as that can permanently alter your smile. You could try some botox since it's temporary to see what results you are able to get but there's no guarantee.

While very effective at improving asymmetries along the dorsum (bridge) of the nose, and sometimes the tip, nonsurgical rhinoplasty will have minimal effect on the shape/symmetry of nostrils.

None surgical rhinoplasty, AKA NSR is a great option for most nose deformities from a nose hump to a bulbous tip, bumps along the dorsal ridge, narrow tip, flattered columella, widened nostrils and a generally engaged nose. There are many potions and you should definitely discuss them with your doctor before committing to surgery.
