I began hair shedding Oct 2016, I had a period of stress and have been Having scalp pain, i was diagnosed with mild pcos as I was having few cycles since I was 16 (21 now)and couldn't lose weight but had thick hair until Oct. The shedding seemed Better in late Jan. in Feb i started OCP/Spiro. I've lost 15lbs. Then my hair was shedding againworse than before, my hair seems less thick on one side and has less volume on top, more parts but not wider parts. My endo says it's TE but I'm still worried

An up close examination is needed. If you have miniaturization and your density in the front area is less than the back, you likely have a component of female pattern loss. It's highly likely you have telogen effluvium of course - that's the easy part. The tough part is diagnosing early female pattern loss if it is present
