The photo is from 5 minutes rubbing my head. Before minoxidil i had no hair loss. I have MPB but very very slowly. I had to stop using minoxidil because of burning scalp, and high pulse. Will the hair I lost grow back? Will iy grow back thinner then it was before minoxidil usage? Because if I understand MPB your hair grows back thinner if you shed. Minoxidil shed is like a normal shed so it will grow back thinner I think? So minoxidil can make you bald faster if you stop using it?

Minoxidil can cause shedding in the first 4-8 weeks. This is
because the dormant hairs are shed in an effort to prepare for the new hairs.
In most instances, this hair will grow back and the overall condition will
improve if the patient is a positive responder. Unfortunately minoxidil does
not work for everybody.

You appreciate very well the issues and how miniaturization is affected by shedding. Because your MPB is so early the chances of a significant alteration in average hair caliber and density is fairly low. Yes it could happen, but it's pretty unlikely.

The hairs that you are shedding may be hairs that were minoxidil dependent hairs that require the minoxidil to continue to grow
