I've been taking accutane for 7 days now and I'm really struggling with my skin. It feels very hot and irritated, also I have red bumps on my cheeks, something I didn't have before I took the medication. My nose is also very red. Is this normal? Will it go away?

Hello and thank you for your question. Some of the common side effects of Accutane is acne flare, dryness of skin, and sensitivity to sun. It is difficult to adequately assess your skin from this time of forum. So I recommend consulting with a board certified dermatologist for evaluation of your skin and discussion of appropriate treatment. Best of luck.
