My lateral incisors seem to small. Opinions and what to do? (photo)

This look can be improved by correcting the gingival coverage. We often see young patients with gums that cover the teeth making them appear smaller than normal. Lasers are perfect to do this quickly, painlessly and have the benefit of rapid healing.

Good question. It looks like your gums have grown up around your lateral incisors which happens often when wearing braces. Once your braces have been removed then if there is excess tissue it can be often lasered to remove the excess gum tissue. This often reveals longer teeth than originally thought. If the width and length is not to your satisfaction then porcelain veneers can be used to enlarge the appearance of your lateral incisors. Hope this helps.

A gingivectomy using a simple scalpel will work great to remove the excess gum, but I see an issue that you will want to have your orthodontist address first.  Your upper right lateral incisor needs to be rotated more so that the disto-facial is moved more facial. In your photo, it looks way too narrow compared to the lateral on the other side because of how it is positioned in your arch.
