I used whitening gel months ago. The inside of my lower lip was burned and is now rough dry and uncomfortable. What can I do?

It took a long time to heal . The skin peeled for a while. It finally healed, but now has a rough area that is often dry and uncomfortable. It makes my inner mouth below my lip stick to my teeth. I rinse with salt water and it fells better for an hour or so.

it sounds like you affected your gums. You should have the area evaluated by a Dentist or Physician.

That sounds like an extreme reaction and you should have your dentist evaluate that asap. Might need an oral surgeon to take a look at it as well. Good luck.
