Is PicoSure a good dark spots removal laser or is there any other lasers on the market that completely erase those persistent dark spots?

Thank you for your question and photo! The PicoSure laser is a great option for treating hyperpigmentation in all skin types. This laser delivers energy in a picosecond (one trillionth of a second) which allows destruction of unwanted pigment without causing damage to the surrounding tissue. The Pico also comes with attachments that help improve skin texture. I recommend a series of treatments 4-6 weeks apart for best results. You can also pretreat the area with hydroquinone cream to enhance your results. It is also important that you protect your skin from the sun to prevent the hyperpigmentation from returning. I recommend consulting with a laser specialist to determine what laser would be best and safest for your desired aesthetic outcome.

Yes, Picosure skin revitalization laser is a good option for sun spots and liver spots on the face and body. Most people require 4-8 treatments. It is safe and has minimal downtime.

Thank you for your question and posting a picture.  There is no best procedure for any issue.  You need to look for the best experience.  Hyperpigmentation is something we see and treat every day in our practice.  We have been very successful using the PicoSure laser with the FOCUS and / or Flat Lenses with a series of treatments.  FOCUS lens treatments have the extra benefit of reducing fine lines and wrinkles.  PicoSure has almost no downtime.  This is one of our go to treatments for patients older than 40 and worried about the signs of aging.  This laser is safe for all skin types.  Start with sunscreen every day!  Once you have treated your hyperpigmentation to your satisfaction, you will probably need a follow treatment every 6 to 12 months depending your level of re-pigmentation.  Best of luck.
