Safe to do laser hair removal on and around the breast area with breast implants?

Hello, I feel silly for asking this but, is it safe to have laser hair removal done on my breasts if I have breast implants? I'm about 4 months post-op from a Benelli lift and breast aug and I want to resume my laser hair removal everywhere including my breast area (because I'm a fuzzy gal!). I would obviously ask the laser tech to avoid the incision areas. Thank you in advance.

Hi and thanks for your question. Yes, it is safe to undergo laser hair removal on the breast area. There is no evidence that your breast implants are affected as the lasers used penetrate very superficially in the skin. Good luck.

There is no effect on the implants with LHR. It can be done over the scars too. No worries. Dr Weiner
