Digital Smile Design (DDS). Is anyone familiar with this?

Looking at getting veneers in the new future and ran across a clinic using Digital Smile Design (DDS). Is this the same as cad/cam technology? Is this something that is now becoming a commonly used practice? If so what are the advantages and disadvantages to using such a protocol?

I would recommend either invisalign to improve the position of your teeth or porcelain veneers to improve shape, color and symmetry of the teeth. Seek an experienced dentist who has great reviews and photos.
