Skin color became dark after two session of reviving peel. Should I not proceed with remaining sessions?

Dear Ananya, Chemical peels have excellent qualities to improve skin texture and complexion but unfortunately it never suits all skin types. More over, the maintenance post chemical peel like using a sunscreen and a brightening cream is mandatory. Kindly meet an expert. Good luck.

I would hold off on getting peels. I would recommend using a lightening agent and sunscreen for a couple months. Best of luck!

Hello, thanks for sharing your query. Superficial peels do not usually cause pigmentation or scarring. Sometime non compliance with sunscreen usage after peels can cause pigmentation as the skin is more sensitive to light following peels. Discuss with your dermatologist about options for reduction of pigmentation.
