I am a surgical tech in a busy OR. The chlorhexadine scrub that we use is very harsh on my hands. The epidermis rubs off when drying my hands. I have sensitive skin so even the Avaguard surgical scrub irritates my skin. Now that it is winter, I'm afraid of my skin drying out to the point of a dermatitis outbreak. I have used glycolic acid treatments on my feet and have been very satisfied with it, just not sure about using it on my hands. Thank you.

Thank you for your question. It depends on the strength of the glycolic acid. Every skin type is different and you should consult with your physician before using this product. Best Wishes!
You should not be putting acid on your skin at home. You probably have a dermatologist since you have a prescription for Efudex so see him to get a proper treatment for whatever the problem is on your hands
We recommend that if choosing to use additional exfoliating products such as glycolic acid, tretinoin should not be used in conjunction on those same nights, unless prescribed by your physician. This can lead to irritation or excessive dryness. If you are looking for a glycolic acid product...
