Before recommending a treatment, it’s helpful to have a correct working diagnosis. In other words, what is creating the contour irregularities in your forehead? It can be due to contractions of muscles of facial expression. There can also be fairly large veins that are typically collapsed because blood drains dependently to the heart which is below the head. It would be important to know any previous treatments, and or injuries you may have had. The contour does not look like it’s due to contraction of your muscles of facial expression. If this is truly related to volume lass than restoring it it’s going to be challenging to do without making and new irregularities. To minimize the chance of pour outcomes, I suggest working with highly predictable treatment options, which are generally going to be fillers. Grafting fat or using Renuva(poor idea) are going to be less predictable. Botox to the glabella only(NO treatment to Frontalis Muscle) may offer some improvements without the drawback of feeling frozen. This means treatment of the Corrugator supercilii muscle and possibly the procerus muscle but avoid using it in the frontalis. If you want to try improving the contour using volume then HA based fillers are your best choice. Avoid treatments that are unpredictable. Mats Hagstrom, MD
