Over the years I have noticed more hollowing in eyes, especially my left eye. What would be the best options?
Hi, the upper eyelids tend to get more hollow as we age. Based on your photos, you tend you raise your left brow higher than your right. Raising the brow creates more space between the eyebrow and eyelid giving it more space and making it appear more hollow. One easy method is just using botox to paralyze your forehead on the left - more than right. This will make your upper eyelids more symmetric. Another way to reduce the hollowing is raising your eyelid itself (the part where lashes come out of). This will shorten the tarsal platform and create fuller appearing eyelids. You can also perform upper eyelid blepharoplasty and pull down some upper eyelid fat that may have receded. Lastly, you can try filler or possibly fat injections around the brow the create a fuller appearance. I recommend a in person consultation with an oculoplastic specialist to determine what is best for you. Hope this helps!
