Horizontal neck bands. They seem deeper after applying Retin-A. Should I stop? (Photo)

I've had two lines all around my neck for my whole life, but now they are REALLY bothering me (I'm 29) I also have two rings on my collarbone area but the neck bothers me most. An RN recommended ultherapy but it seemed like a sales pitch, so I'm a bit turned off. I do not expect to rid them completely since obviously they are genetic, but reducing them back to where they were before they bothered me would be nice. I've been applying retin a and they seem deeper now. Should I stop? Please help!!!
