I have been on accutane for 2 weeks and noticed my skin has gotten a little darker. Is it okay for me to use azelaic acid on my face once a day (at night) to counter this hyperpigmentation?

It doesn't matter as much whether you take Accutane in the morning or at night. You will get better results, however, if you take it with a fatty meal. This increases absorption and decreases your risk of treatment failure.
