Cancer mastectomy, Breast reconstruction 5 years ago. Terrible itching and hot pains under the surface, cannot soothe them, for the last 2 years. What to do? Who to see?Reconstruction surgeon now deceased? Thanks

Without photos, it is difficult to guide you. But in general, the scars will relax over time and should not remain indented. If they do, a scar revision could be done to correct it. Best of luck.

I am very sorry you are having to go through this. Based on your photos, the skin is very compromised and may not survive. It is difficult to guide you further other than to say that local wound care with antibiotic ointment or comparable is the best thing to do right now. You may need...
