Based on your photos and description, the firm bulges may be related to postoperative fibrosis (scar tissue), contour irregularity, or an underlying abdominal wall issue such as diastasis recti or a small hernia. Muscle separation alone does not typically cause localized hard bulges. An in-person examination, and possibly an ultrasound, will help determine the cause and whether treatment such as massage, scar management, or revision surgery is appropriate
