I recently got breast implants 3 weeks ago and feel like I went way too small, I was a small B cup prior and only look about a C cup, I got 295cc M.P. teardrop and I'm feeling quite sad about it, I went to Thailand and my consult was so rushed so I chose the size 30 min before I was operated on and woke up and knew they were too small. I was recommend 345cc HP teardrop but I wasn't sure so I chose the smaller. My question is, is it likely that they will get even smaller when the drop and heal?
Answer: Size Settling Hello there Generally speaking it takes about 6 weeks to get to your final size and longer to get to your final shape .There are exceptions . Girls who have never had children and have a tight skin envelope can look larger as time passes as the overlying soft tissue envelope 'gives' a little .It's highly likely that if you feel 295cc is too small then 345cc would also be too small as it is probably only about an extra 5mm of projection .Allow your body to heal and wait about 6 months to assess final size and shape .Thereafter if you are still unhappy the implants can be changed.CheersTS

Answer: Implant size concerns Thanks for your question. Sorry to hear about your experience. The implants themselves will not get smaller, however, you are likely to see changes in the shape of your breasts over the next several months as the swelling subsides, tissue settles, and implants drop into place. I recommend you wait at least 6 months before making any final judgments about the operation. You may find that you are pleased with the ultimate result.

Answer: Post Op Concerns - Worried About Sizing Hi EmSurr11, I am sorry to hear that you are worried whether you have chosen the right size for your implants. However, please take note that you are still in the early stages of the healing process at three weeks post op. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. But if you are still concerned, you can always visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. This way, you will be reassured. Also, if after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. Lastly, follow your plastic surgeons post operative instructions and advice for faster healing and recovery. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: Implants You implants will not get any smaller, but your breasts do have some swelling and that will go down. Give yourself time to heal and adjust to your new look. You may find that you do love this size. If not, in 6 months, you could consider a revision.
