I have very course, dense, black chin hair which grows very quickly (everyday) and my technician has advised me that I will need 8 treatments every 3 weeks. After my first session yesterday, she told me I should pluck out all black facial hair that was treated in the next 2-3 days when it's above the surface, but will this affect my results? Also, does plucking facial hair promote the growth of even more hair and dormant hair? Thank you in advance.

If you have thick dark hairs they will respond to laser hair removal and will not come back or at least will be reduced unless you use external hormones. Best, Dr. Emer.
